It’s a tradition on Kababayan Today that Father Albert H. Avenido Jr. joins us here.
He’s the chaplain and moderator of the office of the Filipino ministry of the archdiocese of Los Angeles.
We always invite him to come on our program every time we start the new year to reflect spiritually on the past year that was and to look forward to year 2017.
Part of 1 of 4: For the New Year of 2017, join us in spiritual reflection with Father Albert Avenido of the Filipino Ministry.
2016 was a very rough not just for the Filipinos but for the world as well. Father Albert H. Avenido looks at the positive side of the past year – a celebration of a year of mercy and that we should learn that there is hope for all these challenges.
Part of 2 of 4: Father H. Avenido talks about Mercy for life and that we have to pray for our leaders. He also talks about how to combat the negativity.
Part of 3 of 4: Father Albert H. Avenido continues on our New Year 2017 spiritual reflection.
Part of 4 of 4: In all the things that are happening in this world, such as the inauguration of our new president, people are afraid. Father Albert H. Avenido focuses his messages on what God said, “be not afraid…” samahan natin ang grupo na magmamahal sa tao.
