On-air Programs LA 18 produces more local programs than any other Asian-language broadcaster, with over 5 hours a day. Advertisers can sponsor a segment within these shows in creative and value-added ways. LA 18 shows are among the most-watched Asian programs in Southern California.
  • Midday Buzz: Every episode focuses on helping the average Chinese American consumer with the best tips and guidance on a variety of topics, from beauty and health to smart spending and saving. Viewers will find the show's Daily Product Demo Segment highly valuable. This segment will offer creative solutions to many everyday challenges - easy and affordable meal planning ideas, tips on home decoration or renovation, sensible beauty and fashion advice, and more. In addition, viewers are encouraged to take part in each episode through interactive elements that include texting, tweets, videos, and/or live chatting via Skype. This allows them to be a part of this unique community and makes the show feel like their own. It's the daily show that will inform, entertain, and engage LA 18 viewers like never before.
  • L.A.  Living: L.A.  Living is a fast-paced, upbeat and highly interactive newsmagazine show that cannot be missed.  Set in the LA 18 studio, Juliette Zhou gives viewers a first-hand look at living in America. LA Living covers the hottest stories from the worlds of entertainment, travel, cooking, education, beauty and health.
  • Kababayan L.A.: Tailored towards the burgeoning Filipino American community, Kababayan L.A. is the first locally produced daily show of its kind.  Host Jannelle So brings a lively mix of news, information and entertainment, as well as interviews with leading Filipino celebrities, community leaders and newsmakers.
  • News Programs: LA 18 Evening News, Global Report and the LA 18 Primetime News are locally produced and aired nightly in Mandarin, Vietnamese, and Korean.  Various “News Update” segments in Mandarin, Tagalog, and Korean provide topical headline news throughout the day. Through an unprecedented partnership with general market local station, KNBC Local News is also broadcasted with Asian-language captions.
  • Halo Halo: A showcase of popular culture, Halo Halo presents audiences with the latest Hollywood news/gossip and up-to-date Filipino entertainment headlines.  Viewers can laugh aloud to the “Funny Filipino Files”, side-splitting online videos gathered from YouTube, MySpace and other online video sharing sites. As if that wasn’t enough, the “cherry on top” of each episode will be an in-studio musical performance from the very best of Filipino and Filipino American artists.
  • tSOu LA: tSOu LA is all about living an active Southern California lifestyle.  Each week, Bell Tsou, LA 18 News’ Lifestyle personality, highlights the latest trends in local entertainment, fashion and weekend activities for the entire family.  The program’s key objective is to give the Chinese population a reason to travel outside of the Chinese community.
